Wednesday Evenings 6-7:30pm from January 27th to March 3rd, 2027
We begin our 6-week somatic healing journey by building a safe and supportive group container. Together, we’ll set intentions, explore what it means to honor the teacher within, and begin to gently reconnect with the body’s innate wisdom. This week includes guided practices for grounding and self-reflection, group sharing, and the completion of our baseline assessments—including a Body Perception Questionnaire and Safety Scale—to help track your growth throughout the program.
This week, we explore ahimsa—the yogic principle of non-harming—as a path to deep inner healing. Through gentle movement, reflection, and discussion, you’ll learn to connect with your non-judgmental inner witness: the compassionate observer within. We’ll unpack the difference between shame and guilt, and how both impact the nervous system. With quotes, inquiry, and curiosity, we’ll explore how to turn the principles of ahimsa inward—inviting more compassion, less criticism, and a softening of old patterns.
This week we explore what it means to feel balanced and anchored in your nervous system—strong, steady, and supported from within. You’ll be introduced to core concepts from Polyvagal Theory, including the 3-tiered response to threat, the Window of Tolerance, and the Polyvagal Ladder. Through movement, breath, and guided reflection, you’ll begin to map your own patterns of dysregulation and discover practices that help restore a sense of calm, clarity, and equanimity—even when life gets wobbly.
This week is all about reclaiming your body as a source of power and wisdom. You’ll explore how trauma and chronic stress impact the nervous system and physical body—and how instinctual, grounding movements can help mobilize stuck energy and rewire old patterns. Through somatic repatterning and intentional upregulation, you’ll begin to build trust in your body’s capacity to move, feel, and respond with strength and resilience. This is your invitation to feel more alive, more empowered, and more you.
This week bridges the gap between body and brain, helping you recognize when it’s safe to activate and energize your system—and how to do so with intention. You’ll learn how chronic stress and trauma shape brain function, and how cross-lateral movement, conscious breath, and somatic awareness support nervous system coherence. These practices reconnect you with your “wise mind,” the integrated state where clarity, resilience, and emotional regulation thrive—so you can meet life’s challenges with grounded confidence and calm.
In our final movement class, we root into the heart—opening to the fullness of who you are with compassion and reverence. This week is about integration: celebrating the journey, deepening your heart connection, and anchoring the tools that support you beyond this program. We’ll review how movement, mindfulness, and somatic practices can interrupt patterns like fear, exhaustion, and overwhelm—rewiring the brain and body for lasting resilience, vitality, and love. You’ll leave with a sense of wholeness and the embodied knowing that healing lives within you.

What’s Included:
You’re welcome to join us for an all-levels, alignment based, inclusive yoga practice! I’ll have lots of modifications to keep you safe as you discover what’s possible for you.
Somatic healing begins in the body. This work recognizes that trauma and stress live not just in our minds but also in our nervous systems and tissues. Instead of only talking about what happened, somatic healing helps you notice how experiences are stored physically—through tension, posture, breath, and sensation—and offers gentle ways to release, repattern, and restore safety from the inside out. It’s a body-first, approach to healing that comes from the inside to support lasting change.
My programs weave together several evidence-based, body-centered approaches, including:
Together, these practices help you access your inner wisdom, build emotional resilience, and feel more safe, whole, and alive in your body.
Each Wednesday class is in-person and experiential, however you will have an online hub with weekly meditation, breathwork and informational resources available if you cannot make class. You also have the option to join for the Saturday check-in for additional in-person support.
You’ll be invited to incorporate the tools we practice off the mat with listening, noticing and reflection activities, but they are all optional and to be done in a way that feels good to you.
I offer refunds on a case by case basis, this process is not for everyone and I outline my specific refund policy for this program in the agreement you’ll sign.
